Welcome Mr. President

Welcome Mr. President! It’s been a long two years on the campaign trail, and a hard, as well as sometimes bitter campaign, but you’ve reached the White House. I will be the first one to admit that I believe most of the policies and promises that you have made on the campaign trail are too liberal and not what this country needs in these desperate times. However, we do need a true leader which I do believe you have the possibility of being. I also applaud your willingness to bring technology and the next generation of communication to the Executive Office. Hopefully this will spread to the Legislative and Judicial branches as well.

I wish you, President Obama, the best of luck for both yourself as well as for this great country.

My Man Mitt — A Leader for Our Generation

It’s only March 2007 but the preparations for the 2008 Presidential elections are already fully underway. So today I would like to make it known that I am supporting the Mitt Romney for President campaign. Some of you may be asking why Mitt so let me explain why I believe Mitt Romney is the leader to take our country through these turbulent times.

First and foremost Mitt is a business leader and not a career lawyer as we have grown accustomed to politicians being. This has many benefits in my opinion and can be shown through Mitt’s handling of the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games where in 1999 the games were running almost 400 million dollars short of it’s revenue goals. Mitt came in as the CEO of the SLC Games and reduced budgets, created a new organizational team and increased funding, all while increasing security following 9/11. In the end the SLC games were one of the most successful in recent history with a revenue of almost 100 millions dollars. Also, Mitt helped turn around Bain & Company which was close to financial ruins. However, Mitt came in and turned the company around and returned the company into a profitable situation without any layoffs. During the 14 years that Mitt Romney lead Bain & Company the firm was able to acquire or create companies such as Staples, Dominos, and The Sports Authority. Because of Mitt’s ability to lead private business and increase profitability while decreasing spending I can only imagine what he could do for these great States of America.

I also believe in Mitt Romney because of the stances he takes on issues. Several of the other leading conservative candidates out there currently say they are for conservative ideals but are lying to themselves and the public. Mitt on the other hand believes in abortion control except in cases of rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is threatened. Mitt has also announced that he opposes same-sex marriage and civil unions while still maintaining that he would be a strong advocate for gay rights. Beyond those issues Mitt also has said that he is for maintaining stability in Iraq, a proponent of gun control, and tough on illegal immigration.

Lastly, Mitt is one of the few candidates, Democrat or Republican, that has come up with solid plans on what he would like to do as President of the United States of America. Go to any candidates website or listen to them speech and it’s the same political B.S. over and over. However, Mitt Romney has published his ideas on how to better this nation from Technology to Health Care to Energy on his website. You can also listen to his speeches to hear the specifics that he talks about on these issues compared to other candidates.

Now, before I get hate mail I’m not saying Mitt Romney is perfect. Not one of us is however I believe he is the best candidate for the job and is the person who can truly lead us through the 21st century while reducing government at the same time.

Donate to the Mitt Romney for President Campaign!

Where Is It All Coming From Hillary?

Posted in: Default

Both Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama were both on the campaign trail today in Selma, AL as part of the anniversary of “Bloody Sunday”. I just happened to catch a replay of her speech today while flipping through channels and coming upon C-SPAN. Hillary said during her speech:

“How can we sleep, while 46 million of our fellow Americans do not have health insurance?” … “How can we shrug our shoulders and say this is not about me, when too many of our children are ill-prepared in school for college and unable to afford it, if they wish to attend?” … “And how do we say that everything is fine, Bloody Sunday is for the history books, when over 96,000 of our citizens, the victims of Hurricane Katrina, are still living in trailers and mobile homes, which is a national disgrace to everything we stand for in America?”

So Hillary, please do tell me, where is all of the money coming from? You ask how we can sleep while 46 million Americans don’t have health insurance. Ok, let’s say the government gives these 46 million Americans health insurance. Where is the money coming from? How about the children who want to attend college that you mention can’t afford to. Where is the money coming from? Oh, and those poor, poor Katrina survivors who have been given temporary housing by the government in mobile homes and trailers. Should we be buying their new homes for them as it seems that you are saying? Where is that money coming from?

This is what the Democrats will do. They’ll either make campaign promises that they can’t keep. Or what is more likely, tax increases for everyone. They talk about raising the taxes just for the rich but you don’t really think you’re getting out of tax increases yourself now do you?

Nope, this is what we can expect for the next year and half. Democrats making those campaign promises that they won’t keep and never telling the citizens they are trying to get votes from just exactly what these promises will cost Joe citizen.

By the way, I have officially decided to throw my support behind the Mitt Romney for President campaign. Look for more information over the next few days.

Good call NAACP!

“After a call from Gov.-elect Charlie Crist, the Florida State Conference of the NAACP has cancelled its plans for a demonstration next Tuesday before his inauguration in Tallahassee.

Adora Obi Nweze, the group’s president, said a call from Crist last Saturday morning, the day a story on the NAACP’s plans ran in the St. Petersburg Times, cleared the air and assured Nweze that the governor would have an open line of communication with the group.”
